The Uptown GiftBox Company is pleased to present the inaugural VIP Gift Lounge + Studio at the 9th annual Whistler Film Festival (the last big event before Whistler plays host to the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games.) The invitation-only Lounge is this year's most exclusive VIP meeting place and THE place to unwind, socialize and sample some of the hottest Canadian brands.

The Lounge will be held in the four-star Westin Whistler Resort & Spa on Friday December 4th.

Invited artists, filmmakers, industry moguls and A-list media will enjoy a cosy, chalet-style Lounge with unbeatable mountain views and:

On the heels of their kickin' Backstage Gift Lounge at the Canadian Country Music Awards, The Uptown GiftBox Company was recently awarded The Surrey Board of Trade's 2009 Business Excellence Award. Known for her support of independent Canadian brands, owner Gabrielle Durning's unique approach was a big draw for festival organizers as The Whistler Film Festival is synonymous with independent filmmaking and will showcase over 80 films including a record number of premieres.
